Our Story

Origin and Vision

Sebastian Stich

Rooted in Weinviertel for generations

For generations, our family has cultivated the sun-soaked vineyards in and around Manhartsbrunn. What began as a small farm has evolved over decades into a winery that unites tradition with modern wine culture.

My grandfather already knew: great wine doesn't begin in the cellar, but in the vineyard. This principle lives on in every decision we make — from careful pruning in spring to meticulous hand-harvesting in autumn. We work with nature, not against it.

We have been certified organic since 2018, but sustainable practices have been part of our ethos for much longer. Avoiding synthetic pesticides and fostering natural biodiversity in our vineyards is second nature to us. The result: wines that taste honest — of the very soil they come from.

Every vintage tells its own story. Our task is to listen and bring that story into the bottle.

Our Terroir

Hasbreiten and Alter Hof Vineyards

Our vineyards offer a unique soil mosaic: chalky sandy soil, sandy loess, reddish brown earth, and clay-rich loam. This varied terroir requires finesse - and that is exactly what makes our wines so distinctive year after year.
